Kaun Banega Crorepati12 gets its third crorepati in Anupa Das, a school teacher from Chhatisgarh. After Nazia Nasim and Mohita Sharma, Anupa Das becomes the third woman to join this season’s ‘crorepati’ club of the Amitabh Bachchan show.

The show is currently premiering its 12th season and there is no denying the fact that this season has displayed a phenomenal side of Indian women. Anupa Das during her course of the show has revealed that would be using the winning amount for her mother’s cancer treatment.
Winner of Rs 1 crore, 42-year-old Anupa is a teacher by profession who hails from Jagdalpur, Bastar in Chhattisgarh. Although she has moved along with her mother to Mumbai to look after her mother. Anupa answered all the questions that came her way. When show-host Amitabh Bachchan announced ‘sahi jawab’ on Rs. 1 crore question, Anupa Das didn’t only smile with excitement, she also welled-up with tears.
Anupa had been trying her luck to get on the reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati for past 20 years and now she made it really large and became ‘crorepati’.

1. Nazia Nasim-First woman to become crorepati on KBC 12
A communication manager at Royal Enfield, Nazia Nasim went on to become the first crorepati on November 11, 2020. Nazia received huge applaud and standing ovation from the show host Amitabh Bachchan.

2. Mohita Sharma- Second woman to become crorepati on KBC 12
On November 17, Kaun Banega Crorepati got its second crorepati in IPS Officer Mohita Sharma who later revealed that she wasn’t on the show for money but to fulfill her husband’s longstanding dream.
3. Anupa Das- Third woman to become crorepati on KBC 12
On November 25, Anupa Das from Chhattisgarh became third woman to become crorepati, in a row. After trying on KBC for 20 years, Anupa became crorepati and how! Anupa received massive applauds from the audience and the show host Amitabh Bachchan.
