Anurag Kashyap, along with Taapsee Pannu, has resumed working after three days of I-T raid. The director took to social media to share picture with Taapsee from the sets of Dobaaraa. In the post, he mentioned that they have resumed shooting for their upcoming project. The caption of his post had love for ‘all the haters.’ Earlier, on Saturday, Taapsee Pannu had shared a series of tweets as she spoke about the three days of intense search.
Anurag Kashyap opens up on I-T raid
Taking to his Instagram handle, Kashyap shared a photo with Taapsee Pannu. In it, Taapsee is sitting on a chair while Anurag Kashyap is sitting in her lap. They have both made sign of victory as they laugh their heart out. Anurag captioned the post, “And we restart #DoBaaraa .. with all our love to all the haters .. (sic).”
Reacting to the photo, Anurag’s fans expressed their support towards him in the comments. “We are with you,” wrote one. “More power to you,” wrote another.
Taapsee Pannu on I-T raids
Earlier on Saturday, Taapsee had also broken her social media silence after the raids. “3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner. 2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before 3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore,” she wrote in her tweet.
Anurag Kashyap starts Dobaaraa shoot
Dobaaraa is a sci-fi movie starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role. On February 22, the actress took to Instagram and announced that the shoot has begun. Her caption read, “My #DobaaraaSeries Coz some collaborations deserve to be repeated…. Ready to create more memories because we were running out of Manmarziyaan stories to tell… @anuragkashyap10 let’s do this #Dobaaraa (sic).”
The I-T department conducted raids at the homes and offices of Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and other shareholders of Phantom Films. The Income Tax Department has detected financial irregularities of over ₹ 650 crore after it raided two film production companies, two talent management companies and a leading actress, the Central Board of Direct Taxes has claimed.
