Anushka Sen will soon make her debut in Korean drama. Anushka Sen is quite popular on social media. She is an Indian actress and enjoys a global fanbase.

Now, as per reports, the actress is in Korea right now for work. We may soon be seeing Anushka Sen alongside other Korean stars in a project.

Anushka already holds the record of being the youngest contestant on Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi season 11.

The upcoming K-drama Doctor Lawyer is a new series about a genius surgeon. He becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything following a rigged surgery; also a prosecutor who lost her only family and lover through that same surgery.

Now together, they aim to punish those who believe that the importance of a person’s life can be ranked based on their wealth and power.

As the spring K-drama season heats up, almost every platform and streaming service in South Korea has a new show premiering in May.

Here are some of the reasons why you should be looking foward to this K-drama:

This will be So Ji Sub’s first drama role in four years. So Ji Sub will be starring as the titular medical malpractice lawyer Han Yi Han. Notably, he changed careers after a devastating incident in the operating room.

Im Soo Hyang will also star as Geum Seok Young, a passionate prosecutor who believes in law.

Two genres together

As it title says, the drama will combine elements of both medical and law dramas. It will together give you a sense of thrill, and this tense atmosphere will only escalate when they are combined as one.

Interestingly, So Ji Sub is joined by Shin Sung Rok and the versatile Im Soo Hyung. It is bound to give you a charismatic trio that will lead the drama.

Lee Joon (The Silent Sea) stars as Lee Tae, a young man whose father deposed the king and took the throne for himself with the help of Park Gye-won (Jang Hyuk, Voice).

Lee Tae eventually succeeds his father, but instead of ruling wisely, he rules with an iron fist. He faces opposition from Gye-won, who wields more power as vice-premier.


2. There Is No Goo Pil-Soo

In the comedy-drama There Is No Goo Pil-soo, the latest show from Backstreet Rookie writer Son Geun-joo, acclaimed film actor Kwak Do-won (The Wailing) returns to the small screen for the first time in almost a decade.


3. The Sound of Magic

The fantasy The Sound of Magic from Itaewon Class director Kim Sung-yoon is Netflix’s third original Korean drama series of the year.


4. Rose Mansion

Chang, the director of The Target, moves to the small screen for the mystery series Rose Mansion, starring Lim Ji-yeon of Luck-Key. Lim portrays Ji-na, a hotel worker who suffers from low self-esteem. Ji-na travels to the Rose Mansion Apartment, where her parents live, after her older sister Ji-hyun goes missing.


5. Kiss Sixth Sense

Kiss Sixth Sense, the latest Korean show on Disney+, stars Yoon Kye-sang (The Good Wife) and Seo Ji-hye (Dr Brain). Ye-sool (Seo) has had a special ability since she was a child: she can see a person’s future if her lips touch theirs, but she has no idea when the vision will come true.
