Helmed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was one of the most succesful films of 2015. It starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Harshali Mehrotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
The writer of the film KV Vijayendra Prasad recently revealed that he is ideating on a Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel. He shared that he has also discussed the same with Salman Khan who gave it a nod and is also excited for the project.
Prasad said, “I am trying to crack Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. Sometime back, I told Salman the idea and he is also excited. But I am looking for a proper vehicle to carry it forward. I hope it materialises.”

On sharing his thoughts with Salman Khan, he said he was met with similar enthusiasm and excitement. Prasad said, “When I met him casually, I told him about Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel. He is excited with the thought and said it’s a good idea.”
Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a social drama revolving around a 5-year-old Munni from Pakistan who found herself on the other side of the border by accident. The film chronicled Salman Khan aka Bajrangi’s quest to help Munni go back home to her family. The film pulled on the audiences’ heart strings and collected over Rs 300 crores on the box-office.
