The Disco Legend, Bappi Lahiri was laid to rest on Thursday. Bappi Da’s family members and relatives were present at Pawan Hans crematorium in Mumbai today.
Also, several celebrities like Vidya Balan, Mika Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Rupali Ganguly, Alka Yagnik to Ila Arun among others attended Bappi Lahiri’s last rites. His son, Bappa Lahiri, returned from the USA today only.
The music composer breathed his last Tuesday night around 11 PM in Juhu’s CritiCare Hospital. He was suffering from a sleep-related breathing disorder.
Last year also, Bappi Lahiri was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after he was detected with Covid-19. The singer was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital as a precautionary measure.
Bappi Lahiri is popular in the Bollywood industry for delivering famous songs in several films of the late 1970s-80s. Moreover, some of his best compositions include Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi.
Actor Ranveer Singh penned his heart out through an emotional tribute to Bappi Lahiri on his Instagram account. Bappi Lahiri ruled the hearts of millions of music lovers.
He was last seen on Bigg Boss 15 where he came to promote the launch of his grandson Swastik’s new song.
