The popular reality show provides the perfect recipe of wholesome entertainment, which is quickly lapped up by the viewers.
Every season the show grabs eyeballs because of the budding romance between two contestants. While Paras Chhbara and Mahira Sharma’s closeness in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ hogged all the limelight, Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia’s love and hate relationship is making waves on social media.

Rahul Mahajan-Payal Rohatgi
Rahul and Payal’s closeness in ‘Bigg Boss 2’ set several tongues wagging. Mahajan was even seen getting cosy with the ‘Dil Kabaddi’ actress in the pool. He even gave her a massage during one of the episodes.
Although, they continued to deny their relationship after ‘Bigg Boss’ season two ended, Payal later alleged that Rahul was abusive towards her when they were together. She made the allegations against him after his former wife Dimpy Ganguly accused Mahajan of domestic violence.
Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik
Ashmit and Veena also grabbed eyeballs with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Bigg Boss 4’. Veena was seen washing Ashmit’s undergarments on national television, which created a lot of buzz. Although, the ex-couple fell in love in the show, they couldn’t continue their relationship and ended things.
Kushal Tandon-Gauahar Khan
Kushal and Gauahar were considered one of the hottest couples on Indian television when they were together. Gauahar even left the ‘Bigg Boss 7’ house along with Kushal after the ‘Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ actor was asked to leave due to violence.
She came back a day after leaving the ‘BB 7’ house. They dated each other for a while before calling it quits. Last year, Kushal supported Gauahar in her fight against Payal Rohatgi on Twitter.
Armaan Kohli-Tanishaa Mukerji
Kajol’s younger sister Tanishaa received a lot of flak on social media for supporting Armaan even when he disrespected her in ‘Bigg Boss 7’. Their closeness in the show led to several speculations; one report even stated that Ajay Devgn was miffed with Tanisha because of her ‘romance’ with Armaan in the show.
It was even said that the Bengali beauty would get eliminated as the ‘Tanhaji’ actor warned the makers to do so. However, Tanishaa went into the grand finale and emerged as the first runner-up of ‘BB 7’.
Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna
Karishma and Upen were one of the most popular telly couples. They fell head-over-heels in love during their stint in ‘Bigg Boss 8’. UpMa, as fondly called by fans, participated together in Nach Baliye 7.
Upen even proposed Karishma on the sets of the dance reality show. However, fate had something else in store for them. Their love story didn’t meet its end and the former couple went their separate ways in 2016.

Although, Ssara Khan and Ali Merchant didn’t fall in love in the show, they got married inside the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ house in 2010. Their marriage could barely last for two months. Gossip mills suggested that Sara and Ali were paid a whopping amount to get hitched on the show.
