Through an Instagram post, Billie Eilish has announced her new album ‘Happier Than Ever’, which will release on July 30, 2021.
Her sophomore album will include a total of 16 songs. Like her debut, it has been written and produced with her brother and musical collaborator, Finneas.
The 4th and 14th tracks of her album, ‘My Future’ and ‘Therefore I Am’, were released as singles earlier. The singer has also announced that she will be releasing another song from the album on April 29.
She wrote on Instagram, “MY NEW ALBUM ‘Happier Than Ever’ OUT JULY 30TH! this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” she wrote. “I can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel.”

In an interview earlier this year, Eilish said “I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for COVID. That doesn’t mean it’s about COVID at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is. So, I have to thank COVID for that, and that’s about it.”
“There’s a couple of moments on this album where I pull some tricks out. It’s really just about what I feel like sounds good.”
The album arrives more than two years after Billie Eilish’s debut, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” which swept the 2020 Grammy Awards, with her and/or brother/collaborator Finneas winning Album of the Year, Record and Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Producer.
