Coldplay fans in India have reason to celebrate as the band has announced the release of additional tickets for their highly anticipated concerts in Ahmedabad. Scheduled for January 25 and 26, 2025, at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, these performances are part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour - India. Tickets will be available exclusively on the BookMyShow app, starting today, January 15, at 6 PM IST.
A Fair Ticketing Process for Fans
In response to overwhelming demand, BookMyShow has implemented measures to ensure a smooth ticketing experience. A virtual waiting room will open one hour before sales begin, allowing fans to prepare for the process. However, it’s important to note that entering the waiting room does not guarantee a ticket or a priority position in the queue. Once ticket sales begin, participants will receive randomly assigned spots in the queue.
Each fan will have a maximum of four minutes to complete their booking upon reaching the seat selection page. To maintain fairness, users can purchase up to four tickets per transaction. BookMyShow has also urged fans to avoid purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources to prevent scams.
Coldplay Returns to India After Nearly a Decade
This marks Coldplay’s first performance in India since their 2016 Global Citizen Festival concert in Mumbai. The excitement is palpable as fans eagerly anticipate the band’s stunning live shows, which are renowned for vibrant light displays, fireworks, and an unforgettable setlist.
The Ahmedabad concerts follow Coldplay’s performances in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025.
