Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards were given on Sunday. It was a star-studded ceremony who the Who’s Who of Bollywood industry.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Awards were attended by numerous glamorous celebrities on Sunday evening. Some of the faces that stole the limelight include actor Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty in a formal suit. The actor looked handsome as he posed for the shutterbugs.
Ranveer Singh’s mother Anju Bhavnani also graced the prestigious event in a suit set.
Actor-director Satish Kaushik also attended the Dadasaheb Phalke awards event, he posed for cameras as well. He was honoured with the Best Actor in Supporting Role for the 2021 film Kaagaz.
Salman Khan’s brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma also graced the occassion and posed for the cameras. He was sporting a formal suit. Actress Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dasani also came for the ceremony. Besides, actors Shaheer Sheikh, Rohit Roy and Rannvijay Singha also attended the award ceremony.
Actor Sidharth Malhotra won the Critics Best Actor as Param Vir Chakra-awardee Captain Vikram Batra, in movie Shershaah.
Actress Kiara Advani also won the Critics Best Actress award for her performance as Captain Vikram Batra’s girlfriend Dimple Cheema.
Shershaah is a biographical war film based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Army Captain Vikram Batra. Moreover, he led one of the toughest operations in mountain warfare in Indian history, rightly referred to as ‘Sher Shah’ (Lion King).

On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal’s Sardar Udham was named as Critics Best Film.
Besides, Ranveer Singh too won the Best Actor award for his performance as former Indian Cricket team Captain Kapil Dev in 83. Allu Arjun’s movie Pushpa: The Rise comes shining ahead as Film of the year.
