Ever since the sudden and shocking demise of young and popular TV actress Divya Bhatnagar came into light, the stories of her troubled marriage are surfacing on the internet. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Divya Bhatnagar lost her battle against COVID-19 and passed away in Mumbai on December 7.
Divya’s mother and Saathiya fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu accused Divya’s husband, Gagan Gabru of various fraud and ‘physical assault’. Brushing away each and every allegation, Gagan Gabru took to his social media and rubbished Divya’s mother’s as well as Devoleena’s claims.
However, Devoleena Bhattacharjee backlashed at Gagan Gabru by coming up with evidence supporting her claims. Devoleena shared many screengrabs of chats between Divya and her friend, testimony from an eye witness to the alleged mental and physical torture meted on Divya and picture of her bruises.
Devoleena also accused Gagan Gabru of ‘physically harassing’ Divya while they were together. She added that he caused ‘mental torture’ and ‘stress’ to Divya Bhatnagar, which further led to her suffering from diabetes.
TV actress took to her Instagram to as she demanded justice for her late friend Divya. While sharing the evidence, Devoleena wrote: ‘Lets fight against domestic violence and punish the culprit.’

DIVYA BHATNAGAR’S MARRIAGE IN 2019
The ‘Sanskar Dharohar Apno Ki’ actress tied the knot with Gagan Gabru in a Gurudwara on December 22, 2019 in Mumbai. None of the families attended the wedding because they had never approved of the wedding as Gagan and Divya belonged to different castes.
