Diljit Dosanjh responds to #DiljitKittheAa Twitter trend sparked by Kangana Ranaut

Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh responded to “Diljit Kitthe Aa” trend on microblogging site Twitter that was seeking the whereabouts of the singer.

The twitter trend was apparently sparked after Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut shared a series of tweets targeting singer Diljit and actress Priyanka Chopra for extending support to protesting farmers.

Diljit took to his twitter and gave a response to those who were asking about Diljit and his whereabouts.

He tweeted (of course in Punjabi) “Subha Uth Ke GYM Laya..Fer Sara Din Kam Kita .. Hun Mai Saun Lagga Haan..AH Lao Fadh Lao MERA SCHEDULE
(I woke up in the morning today and went to gym. Worked all day and now I am about to sleep. Here, this was my day’s schedule)

Earlier on Saturday, Kagana had targeted actor singer Diljit Dosanjh and bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as they extended support to protesting farmers.

In a series of tweets, Kangana wrote, “Problem is not just them but each and every individual who supports them and opposes #FarmersBill_2020 they are all aware how important this bill is for farmers still they provoke innocent farmers to incite violence, hatred and Bharat Band for their petty gains.”

Kangana had also claimed that Priyanaka and Diljit are misleading and inciting farmers protests but would be hailed by the left media and given awards.

Pictures of protesting farmers demanding the release of a few activists who were booked for inciting violence have taken social media by the storm.

While Priyanka Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh referred these pictures to extend support to the farmers, Kagana took it as yet another opportunity to target the artists.

Kangana referring to Manjeet Bagga’s tweet:

Kangana also referred to a twitter user Manjeet Bagga’s tweet and labelled Diljit as local revolutionary.

Kangana urged the Twitter user to explain it to “local krantikari (local revolutionary)” Diljit Dosanjh in the Punjabi language.

“Mujhse bahut gussa ho gaye the woh jab maine samjhane ki koshish ki (He got infuriated when I tried to explain last time),” further tweeted Kangana Ranaut.

Last week Kangana and Diljit were knees deep in a massive twitter spat. Diljit kept tweeting in Punjabi and asked Kangana to google the meaning of those words.

Apart from Diljit Dosanjh, a number of Punjabi artists took a jibe at Kangana as she tweeted a photo of 73-year-old Mohinder Kaur, calling her Bilkis Dadi, widely popular as Shaheen Bagh Dadi.

The Pangaa actress also claimed in her tweet that this is the same Dadi from Shaheen Bagh and she is available to be hired at Rs 100. After being called out for spreading misinformation, Kangana had deleted the tweet.
