Diya Aur Baati Hum actress becomes victim of ATM fraud, registers FIR

Popular TV actress Surbhi Tiwari was left in a state of shock when she came to know that someone withdrew money from her bank account. The actress, who to shot to fame after playing the role of Aradhana in Star Plus’ afternoon show ‘Shagun’, registered an FIR at Versova Police station after the bank executives informed her that several attempts were made to withdraw money from her account.

Surbhi, while talking to Times Of India, said that the bank executive also informed her that she would have lost more money if she didn’t block her card at the right time.

How Surbhi Tiwari became a victim of ATM fraud?

An unauthorized transaction was made on Surbhi’s card following which she blocked her debit card. She filed an FIR at a police station as the executive assured her that she would get her money back in 23 days if she produced the FIR within two days.

Who is Surbhi Tiwari?

Surbhi Tiwari has worked in several popular shows including ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, ‘Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli’, ‘Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka’, to name a few. She tied the knot with Delhi-based pilot & businessman Praveen Kumar Sinha on February 10, 2019 at the age of 38 in Delhi.

Nakuul Mehta

Nakuul Mehta, fondly known for playing the role of Shivaay opposite Surbhi Chanda, was shocked when he came to know that his bank account was hacked. He filed a complaint at DN Nagar Police station after a big amount was withdrawn from his account.

Dalljiet Kaur

‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Dalljiet Kaur lost Rs 50,000 after becoming a victim of debit card cloning. She had to register an FIR after her bank officials asked her to take legal action.

Dheeraj Dhoopar

Dheeraj Dhoopar aka our very own Karan Luthra from ‘Kundali Bhagya’ had to deal with card fraud in November 2017 as his credit card was swiped for 13,000. He immediately informed the bank and blocked his card and saved himself from incurring huge losses.

Adaa Khan

Adaa Khan, who win hearts as Shesha in ‘Naagin’, lost Rs 2 lakh due to debit card cloning in January 2018. She had shared a post on her Instagram story to warn her fans about different online frauds.
