Bollywood’s beloved “King Khan,” Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly received a death threat following similar threats received by fellow actor Salman Khan. The threat was reported to Mumbai’s Bandra Police Station, sparking concern across Bollywood. Taking the matter seriously, the police tracked the call to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where they questioned a man named Faizan Khan.

This recent incident has put Bollywood on alert, especially after threats to Salman Khan and the high-profile Baba Siddique case. As Mumbai Police intensifies its investigation, they are committed to leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety of Shah Rukh and his family.

What Faizan Khan Told the Police

In an initial round of questioning, Faizan Khan stated that he did not make the threat and claimed that his phone, from which the call originated, was stolen. Speaking to the media, Faizan admitted that although he did not issue the threat, he has been upset with Shah Rukh due to a statement in the film Anjaam, where Shah Rukh's character mentions hunting a blackbuck. This statement, according to Faizan, disrespects the Bishnoi community, who hold the blackbuck sacred.

Faizan shared that he filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police Commissioner over this issue, requesting a ban on the movie. Faizan, who has connections with the Bishnoi community, emphasized that his concern stems from his cultural beliefs.

The threat call to Shah Rukh Khan was traced back to a mobile number registered in Faizan Khan’s name, with its last location detected in Raipur. Mumbai Police quickly traveled to Raipur to investigate further. Faizan was brought in for questioning and faced two hours of detailed inquiry regarding his alleged involvement.

According to Raipur CSP Ajay Kumar, Faizan was asked about his whereabouts on the day of the call and questioned regarding the demand for INR 50 lakh in ransom made alongside the threat. Faizan denied any involvement, explaining that his phone went missing on November 2, and he had reported the loss to Kharmadi Police Station. After two hours of questioning, the police issued a notice to Faizan and released him for the time being.
