From three generations of the Bachchans to Sunny Deol, Bollywood hasn’t been able to stay unscathed from the rising cases of COVID-19 in India. While there are many Bollywood celebrities who were infected with coronavirus, it was Kanika Kapoor who was the first one to test positive for the coronavirus.

The Coronavirus case count in India has crossed the 90-lakh mark and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire globe to a standstill.

Amitabh Bachchan 

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on 11 July, informed millions of his fans through social media that he had tested positive for COVID-19 test. He wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff have undergone tests, results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

Anupam Kher’s Family 

On July 12, actor Anupam Kher took to his Twitter and shared a video where he informed while he tested negative for the coronavirus tests, his mother, brother Raju Kher, Raju’s wife and daughter (Anupam’s niece) have tested mildly positive for novel coronavirus.

Singer Kanika Kapoor 

The “Baby Doll” singer Kanika Kapoor was amongst the first B-town celebs who tested positive for the novel coronavirus. During the initial phase of coronavirus spread in the country, the singer had reportedly returned from London and later went to her hometown in UP. Sunny Deol 

Actor and politician, Sunny Deol is the most recent addition in the list of Bollywood celebrities who tested positive for the novel coronavirus test. ‘I have tested positive for coronavirus. I appeal to the people who came in contact with me recently to isolate themselves and go for the COVID test,’ Deol tweeted in Hindi. the 64-year-old Bollywood actor had undergone shoulder surgery in Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district.

Earlier Bollywood celebrities like Rekha Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Amir Khan’s residences were sealed as their security guards tested positive in the novel coronavirus tests.
