Interestingly, several popular TV bahus have lifted winner’s trophy of ‘Bigg Boss’. Be it Shweta Tiwari, Juhi Parmar, Shilpa Shinde or Dipika Kakar, the TV bahus have managed to win different seasons of the controversial reality show. Sara Khan
Sara Khan, who shot to fame after playing the role of Sadhna in Star Plus’ ‘Bidaai’, participated in ‘Bigg Boss 4’. Although, she couldn’t win the show, the ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actress grabbed eyeballs with her marriage to Ali Merchant. Sara and Ali got married inside the ‘BB 4’ house. However, their marriage didn’t last long and Sara decided to part ways few months after coming out of the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ house. Th fourth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ was won by another TV bahu- Shweta Tiwari.
Pratyusha Banerjee
TV’s Anandi aka Pratyusha Banerjee was part of Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 7’. Within few months of quitting ‘Balika Vadhu’, Pratyusha was offered ‘BB 7’and she decided to take up the project. The Bengali beauty couldn’t reach the finale despite a strong fan following. Gauahar Khan took home the winner’s trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 7’.
Hina Khan
Hina won several hearts with her performance as Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ opposite Karan Mehra. She quit the show after playing the character of a docile bahu for seven long years. From her fights with Shilpa Shinde to her comment on South actress, the ‘Naagin 5’ created a lot of buzz with her antics inside the ‘BB 11’ house on social media. Although, Hina couldn’t win the show, she emerged as one of the most popular contestants in the history of ‘Bigg Boss’. Another TV bahu- Shilpa Shinde aka Angoori Bhabhi beat Hina to claim the trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 11’.
Rashami Desai
TV’s Tapasya aka Rashami Desai was considered as one of the probable winners of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ when the show started. Fans expected the ‘Uttaran’ actress to win the reality show as she is one of the leading stars in the industry. However, Rashami’s game started on a slow note and her personal life became the topic of discussion on national television. Although, she picked up pace in the later stages of the show, the ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ actress was overshadowed by Asim Riaz and Shehnaaz Gill in terms of popularity. Her ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’ co-star Sidharth Shukla won ‘Bigg Boss’ season 13.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee
The makers had roped in another TV bahu for ‘Bigg Boss 13’. We are talking about Devoleena aka Gopi bahu from ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’. Her game was cut short due to back injury, which forced her to quit the game. Devo managed to leave a strong impact on the viewers with her never-say-never attitude during the tasks.
Interestingly, two popular TV bahus are participating in ‘Bigg Boss 14’, which is currently on air on Colors channel. We are talking about Rubina Dilaik and Jasmin Bhasin. Both the actresses have a large fan following on social media. It remains to be seen if they are able to win ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ or not.
