From Kajal Aggarwal to Neha Kakkar, celebs who got married amid pandemic

Popular actress Kajal Aggarwal tied the knot with her beau GautamKitchlu in an intimate ceremony on October 30 at a prestigious hotel in Mumbai. The couple got hitched in the presence of their loved ones. Kajal, who is fondly known for her role in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham’, looked beautiful in an Anamika Khanna lehenga.

Pictures from their dreamy wedding went viral on social media in no time. Interestingly, several Bollywood and television celebs got married amid the COVID-19 crisis. While the likes of Varun Dhawan and Shama Sikander have reportedly postponed their wedding, many stars decided to take their relationship to the next level during the pandemic.

Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar surprised her fans when she shared photos from her mehendi and haldi ceremony. The ‘Dilbar’ singer took nuptial vows with Rohanpreet Singh on October 24. The two lovebirds got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony in a Gurudwara in Delhi. Neha looked resplendent in a Sabyasachi bridal lehenga while her groom complimented her in matching sherwani. Neha and Rohanpreet’s music video ‘Nehu Da Vyaah’ released few days before their wedding and hence, it was initially speculated that their marriage might turn out to be a publicity gimmick to grab eyeballs for their new song.

Rana Daggubati aka Bhallaladeva from ‘Baahubali’ broke several hearts after he got hitched to MiheekaBajaja on August 8 at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The ‘Dum Maro Dum’ star tied the knot in a close-knit ceremony, which was attended by family members and close friends. While the 35-year-old actor looked dashing in an off-white dhoti and kurta, Miheeka complimented him in an Anamika Khanna bridal lehenga. We must say Khanna has become the most-sought after designer for wedding lehengas.

Several TV celebs including Niti Taylor and Manish Raisinghan also got hitched amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Niti, who is fondly known for playing the role of Nandini opposite ParthSamthaan in ‘KaisiYehYaariaan’, got married to ParikshitBawa on August 13 in a Gurudwara in Gurgaon. She kept the news of her wedding a secret for 45 days.

Manish Raisinghan, who essayed the role of Siddhant opposite AvikaGor in ‘SasuralSimarKa’, tied the knot with SangeitaChauhaan on June 30 in a low-key ceremony. Only five people were part of their wedding, which took place in a Gurudwara.
