From ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’ to ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, TV shows which will soon go OFF AIR

Leading GECs are gearing up for the launch of new shows during the festive season. While the likes of ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’, ‘Apna Time Bhi Ayega’ and ‘Hamari Wali Good News’ were launched during Dussehra, several new shows will hit the airwaves post Diwali 2020. Several popular TV shows will also bid adieu to the viewers soon due to low TRPs. Here’s a look at the shows which are all set to go off air. Check out the list to know if your favourite show is facing the axe on or not.

Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka

The supernatural show starring Vikram Singh Chauhan and Aditi Sharma will soon air its last episode on Star Plus. ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka’, which was launched in October 2019, will go off air after a successful one-year run on the channel. The show was always meant to be a finite series and it received an extension after popular demand.


‘Shubharambh’, which airs on Colors channel, will soon bid adieu to the viewers. The show featuring Mahima Makwana and Akshit Sukhija was launched on December 2, 2019 at 9pm slot. The romantic drama witnessed a change in time slot after the launch of ‘Pinjara Khubsurti Ka’ in August 2020. Despite the new time slot, the show couldn’t rake in required TRPs for the channel.

Mere Dad Ki Dulhan

Varun Badola, Shweta Tiwari and Anjali Tatrari starrer ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ received critical acclaim for its realistic story and impeccable performances of the actors. The show will soon meet its logical end as it is going off air on Sony TV. ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’ was launched on November 11, 2019.

Tenali Rama

The historical comedy show starring Krishna Bharadwaj and Pankaj Berry will air its final episode on November 13, 2020 on Sony SAB. ‘Tenali Rama’ will go off air after a three-year successful run on the small screen. The show from the stable of Contiloe Entertainment has completed over 700 episodes till date.
