The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Housefull 4 released on Diwali 2019 and grossed ₹205.5 crores, becoming the biggest hit of the franchise. The first three parts grossed ₹72.25 crores, ₹111.75 crores and ₹108 crores respectively. Now the expectations are even higher for Housefull 5.

According to a report, this time the budget of the film is ₹350 crores. It is believed that the film can earn above ₹300 crores and take the total earnings of the franchise beyond ₹800 crores.

Why were two versions of Housefull 5 sent to CBFC?

According to reports, Sajid Nadiadwala has sent two versions of the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Both versions were viewed and the film got a U/A certificate. It is being said that the makers are planning something new and surprising, so that the audience gets a different fun in the film.
