Popular reality TV show India’s Got Talent will be returning to television screens soon. Although, it will not be airing on Colors like it has been for the last 10 years. The latest season of the show will premiere on Sony TV.
The social media handles of Sony TV released a teaser of the upcoming season of IGT. The video mentions that the show is returning to scout talents from around the country and provide them with a stage.
Ashish Golwalkar, Head – Content, Sony Entertainment Television and Digital Business, shared in a statement, “India’s Got Talent as a format holds great potential, and Sony Entertainment Television’s stronghold in the non-fiction talent-led reality show formats gives us yet another opportunity to resonate with the audience. Having acquired the rights from Fremantle, we are gearing up for an exciting new season of India’s Got Talent and we look forward to showcasing the best talent in our country.”

The judges and host of the show are yet to be finalised. The show originally premiered in 2009 with Kirron Kher, Sonali Bendre and Shekhar Kapur as judges. Kirron Kher has been constant since then but other celebrities such as Farah Khan, Karan Johar and Malaika Arora have also been judges in the show.
