Jaat Box Office Storm: Sunny Deol’s Action Flick Crosses ₹50 Crore in 6 Days!

Sunny Deol's new action film, Jaat, has been ringing cash registers since its release last Thursday, resonating with the people in India's heartland. The movie, in which Deol is seen in his people's favorite rugged avatar, minted ₹53.5 crore in India in six days, even as there was a post-weekend fall. Though it hasn't touched the record-breaking figures of Gadar 2, the regional strength and community appeal of the movie are raising eyebrows.
Jaat began strongly with ₹9.5 crore on Thursday, fell a bit on Friday, but came back over the weekend, reaching a high of ₹14 crore on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday, however, witnessed a 50% decline, coming down to ₹7.5 crore and ₹6 crore, respectively. Industry monitor Sacnilk verifies that the total now reads ₹53.5 crore, with Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana contributing heavily.

In Rajasthan, the movie surpassed Day 1 collections of Mumbai, with Jaipur becoming its second-largest-grossing city after Delhi. According to Box Office India, Jaat will overwhelm Sikandar's lifetime collections in Rajasthan in a week—a reflection of its cultural pull. Helmed by Gopichand Malineni in his debut Hindi film, the movie features a talented cast of Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, and Ramya Krishnan. With its mix of high-octane action and pride of community, Jaat continues to survive on mass popularity.
