Jayam Ravi Breaks Silence on Divorce Controversy: What’s the Truth?
Jayam Ravi has been in the news since he announced his divorce from his wife, Aarti Ravi, after 15 years of marriage. While he claimed that the decision was not made lightly, Aarti later stated that she was not informed before the announcement. Following this, rumors surfaced about a secret relationship between Jayam and Kenishaa Francis, suggesting a possible reason for the divorce.
Jayam Ravi Speaks Out
In a recent interview with DT Next, Jayam Ravi discussed the scrutiny he has faced regarding his personal life since the divorce announcement. He expressed that many people are trying to tarnish his reputation with false narratives but that he remains unfazed.
Jayam stated, “When people try to bring down the image I have earned through hard work, I can only laugh. It’s not easy to malign my name. The situation did not unfold just with the announcement.”
Clarifying Divorce Proceedings
He explained that he had sent a divorce notice through his lawyer, which Aarti’s father acknowledged. Jayam dismissed Aarti's claims that the public announcement was made without prior discussion, stating that both their parents were involved in the process.
Family Involvement
Jayam also addressed claims about his absence at family events, including his children's birthdays. He confirmed that he was present for his elder son Aarav’s birthday celebration in June and mentioned that Aarav wishes for his parents to stay together.
“There are pictures from the birthday celebration. People say my car was seen in different cities, but I have the right to use my car wherever I want,” he said. He added that he has openly discussed the situation with Aarav, while his younger son Ayaan is too young to understand.
Response to Relationship Rumors
Regarding the rumors of a secret relationship with Kenishaa Francis, Jayam did not name anyone directly but emphasized the importance of not dragging people's names into false stories. He clarified that he knows Kenishaa as a psychologist and that they collaborated to open a spiritual center. “Dragging names is not okay. The person being mentioned has helped many people out of depression,” he explained.
Legal Readiness
Jayam Ravi concluded the interview by stating that he is prepared to present evidence in court regarding the false claims made against him. He expressed confidence that the truth will emerge and that those spreading rumors will have to correct their statements once the facts are revealed.
