Hollywood actor Johnny Depp says latest police testimony and new police body-cam footage ‘proves’ Amber Heard has been lying about the fight that ended their marriage, reports The Daily Mail.
According to Heard, Johnny Depp had hurled a mobile phone in her face and trashed the kitchen of their penthouse in a violent fight in May 2016. Amber filed a case against Depp, which the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star appealed against.
Four LAPD officers who reached their house in a span of 2 hours swept the $1.5 million property but didn’t see any injuries, vandalism or evidence of a crime. A second set of responding officers wearing body-cams also visited their loft later that night. Footage from their body-cams has allegedly come up as evidence against Amber Heard’s statement to the police.
Depp’s attorney Adam Waldman has said that the footage proves there was never any wrecking spree in the penthouse. The officers did not spot anything suspicious. There are no obvious signs of damage or disarray in the videos.
Walden shared in a statment, “Amber Heard and her friends described a chaotic, messy crime scene but the newly released LAPD bodycam videos unambiguously show that the penthouse was utterly undamaged and that their testimony was one more grandiose lie”.
