Katrina Kaif and her rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal have tested negative for the novel coronavirus. They announced it on social media. While Vicky’s negative report came out on Friday, Katrina received her negative report on Saturday morning. Katrina had announced on April 6 that she had contracted the virus while her rumoured boyfriend tested positive just a day before.

In her latest post, Katrina announced that she had tested negative for the coronavirus. She also thanked everyone who “checked up” on her. She wrote: “Negative…(everyone who checked up on me, thank you, it was really sweet, felt a lot of love).” The actress shared a beautiful picture of herself along with the health update.

On contracting the virus, Katrina wrote on Insatgram,”I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support.”

On April 6, Vicky Kaushal had issued a statement to announce that she had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested COVID-19 positive. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor,” Vicky wrote.

Vicky is now covid free and he announced same on Friday. Sharing a sunkissed photo of himself, Vicky wrote that he had tested negative.

What’s on work front for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal?

Meanwhile, in terms of work, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. She co-starred with Salman Khan and Disha Patani. She will be seen in Phone Bhoot along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar.

Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming projects include period drama Takht, Sardar Udham Singh and Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw’s biopic. Vicky Kaushal was last seen in the horror film Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship. The Immortal Ashwatthama is expected to release in 2022.
