Most talked about reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, hosted by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is reflecting a successful air time. The 12th season of the show first premiered on September 28. The show has been receiving praises and appreciation like every other year and it received its first crorepati on November 11. Nazia Nasim from Delhi was fetched the title of first crorepati from season 12.
Within a week, IPS officer Mohita Sharma was welcomed as the second crorepati of this season. Mohita, with her splendid game and calm mind, aced the game as she answered all the questions correctly.
The 30-year-old IPS Officer belongs to Kangra in Himachal Pradesh and she is currently posted in the Jammu Kashmir Cadre as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Bari Brahmana (Samba).
Bari Brahmana and PurMandal are the two police stations that are supervised by Mohita Sharma. Mohita answered a number of questions thrown at her by show host Amitabh Bachchan and the audience couldn’t help but applaud her calm and composed nature. She managed to handle the pressure with ease and three of her lifelines were unused till the question worth Rs. 25 lacs popped up.
Her knowledge about a variety of subjects and handling the game pressure with super ease, left megastar Amitabh Bachchan quite impressed.
Here’s the question that made Mohita Sharma second crorepati of the show:
“Which of these explosives was first patented in 1898 by German chemist Georg Friedrich Henning and first used in World War II?”
The options were – HMX, RDX, TNT and PETN. The correct answer was RDX.
Mohita chose her lifeline “ask the expert” and she took the help of expert Pankaj Pachauri.

Mohita was accompanied by her husband on the show. She also recited a self-written poem in front of Amitabh Bachchan. The lyrics of the poem were: “Iss khakhi rang ki kuchh toh baat hai. Lagta hai desh ki mitti se, karti yeh seedha samvaad hai.”
Winner of KBC 11 Ajeet Kumar also congratulated Mohita Sharma for acing the game with ease.
