EXO's Baekhyun is once again in the spotlight, but this time it's not for music—it's about protecting his reputation. On April 16, his agency INB100 shared an official statement about their latest legal actions against people spreading false rumors and malicious posts about the artist.
According to the statement, Baekhyun’s agency INB100 has officially filed a complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul on April 15. The charges include defamation, the spread of false information, insults, and even sexual harassment.
The company explained that they’ve been closely monitoring harmful content online. This includes posts on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, as well as online forums such as DC Inside, TheQoo, Nate Pann, and Daum cafes. With the help of fan reports, they’ve collected enough evidence to take firm legal steps.

We would like to provide an update on the legal action being taken regarding the spread of false information and malicious posts about Baekhyun.
To protect the rights and interests of our artist Baekhyun, we have been continuously monitoring and collecting evidence based on reports from fans. This includes content from social media platforms (X, YouTube, etc.), online communities (DC Inside, TheQoo, Nate Pann, etc.), and Daum cafes (Women’s Generation, SoulDresser, Jjukbbang Cafe, etc.).
Based on the collected evidence, on April 15, we filed a formal complaint with the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul, requesting an investigation into charges such as defamation, the spread of false information, insults, and sexual harassment.
Moving forward, we will continue to monitor malicious posts internally while thoroughly reviewing materials provided by fans. We will collect and preserve evidence and proceed with strong legal action.
