BTS V Joins Bing Crosby for a Duet of 'White Christmas' Honoring Yeontan

This holiday season, BTS member V is making Christmas extra special with a heartfelt collaboration that blends the voices of two generations. V is wishing everyone a “White Christmas” by recreating the classic holiday carol, originally sung by Bing Crosby in 1942, in a very unique way.

A Cross-Generational Duet Like No Other

"White Christmas," a beloved American holiday song first released by Bing Crosby in 1942, has stood the test of time. Now, V, with his smooth, soulful voice, has joined forces with Crosby’s iconic vocals. The song has been reimagined as a duet, with V’s voice seamlessly blending with Bing Crosby's original recording from 1950. The result is a magical rendition that gives the impression that both singers recorded the song together in the same studio, despite being from different times.

The duet version of “White Christmas” highlights the soothing, jazzy tones of both artists, creating a nostalgic yet fresh experience for listeners. It’s a perfect blend of the old and new, showcasing V’s ability to honor the past while bringing his own flair to a timeless classic.

An Animated Music Video Featuring V’s Beloved Dog Yeontan

Adding even more heart to the song, the animated music video (MV) that accompanies the duet features Bing Crosby delivering Christmas gifts on Santa’s sleigh, spreading holiday cheer. The video also features V's beloved dog, Yeontan, who sadly passed away on December 2, KST. Yeontan, often seen by V's side, has become an integral part of his life, and the inclusion of his dog in the video adds an emotional layer to this already special collaboration.

The video tells a beautiful story of Christmas magic, with Yeontan appearing alongside Crosby and V in a touching tribute to the late pup. The animation captures the warmth of the holiday spirit while remembering a beloved companion.
