Han Seung Yeon and Kim Hyun Jin Start Fresh at AER Entertainment After YG Exit

Han Seung Yeon and Kim Hyun Jin have officially signed exclusive contracts with AER Entertainment, a newly launched talent agency, after leaving YG Entertainment.

On April 16, AER Entertainment announced its launch and proudly introduced Han Seung Yeon and Kim Hyun Jin as the first artists to sign with the agency. AER shared in a statement, “We are happy to begin this journey with Han Seung Yeon and Kim Hyun Jin, who have shown great trust and loyalty. We will fully support their future careers.”

This news follows their recent departure from YG Entertainment, which decided to shut down its actor management division. Both stars had been managed by YG before the change.

AER Entertainment is founded by Im Dong Kyu, a former talent management expert at YG. The agency is a subsidiary of Story J Company, which also manages big names like Kim Tae Hee, Seo In Guk, and Lee Jun Hyuk.

The name “AER” comes from the Portuguese word for “air.” The agency says it wants to be like air—an important presence that may not always be visible, but is always essential.
