J-Hope Stuns with Real Abs in Killin’ It Girl Teaser, Keeps BTS-era Promise

BTS' Jung Hoseok, fondly known as J-Hope, has left fans stunned with the concept photos he released for his new song 'Killin' It Girl'. The photos, which were released on May 29, show J-Hope flaunting his six-pack abs for the first time. Not only were the photos stunning, they also reminded us of a fun promise he made in 2016.

J-Hope's six-pack abs become the talk of the town

The black and white shirtless photos taken for the Killin' It Girl MV showed a new, bold avatar of J-Hope. This is his 'Chapter 2' era, in which he is adopting a more mature and sexy look than ever before. He had previously revealed that his new music will feature a different and bolder side of him - and now fans can see what he meant.

J-Hope promised to show abs in 2016

During a BTS live session in 2016, J-Hope wore a funny T-shirt with cartoon fake abs. He then said that if BTS gets 10 million followers on V Live and their 5th studio album comes out, he will get a real six-pack. In the same conversation, some members joked that maybe it will happen when he turns 30 or completes military service.

Now at the age of 32, J-Hope has fulfilled his promise. Fans are now praising him by calling him a "promise-keeper" and "a man of his words".

'Killin' It Girl' release date and special performance

American rapper GloRilla will also be seen with J-Hope in Killin' It Girl. The song will be released on June 13. On the same day, J-Hope will also perform it live for the first time on his Goyang Encore Stage. Fans are eagerly waiting for both this performance and the song.
