Several beloved K-pop artists are nearing the end of their mandatory military service, much to the excitement of fans worldwide. As their 18 months of service conclude, these stars are preparing to return to the spotlight and resume their musical journeys.

MONSTA X's Minhyuk Completes Service

Minhyuk of MONSTA X was officially discharged from the military on October 3. Serving under the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County of Gyeonggi Province, Minhyuk dedicated himself to his duties with the same passion he brings to the stage. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the group, anticipating new music and performances.

J-Hope Counts Down to Discharge

Following in the footsteps of BTS' Jin, J-Hope is the second member of the globally renowned group to complete his military service. Last month, J-Hope shared his feelings on Weverse, marking the 30-day countdown to his discharge.

He reflected, "One month, exactly 30 days left to go! All that time flew by, but I'm already reminiscing about it. I guess I grew pretty fond of everything here. I've been packing, giving away some of the gear I came to cherish, and my locker's starting to look a bit empty."

Accompanied by a mirror selfie, he continued, "And that's when the feeling really starts to sink in. I look back, and it all comes flooding back—those early days when I was nervous and tense and didn't know what I know now... that everything would be just fine. These days, I look at the new recruits who are just starting out, and I can read their minds. It reminds me a bit of myself, so I find it kind of cute... sigh..."

J-Hope is scheduled to return on October 17, and fans are counting down the days with him.

More BTS Members to Follow

With Jin and J-Hope completing their service, other BTS members are set to follow. RM, Suga, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook are expected to be discharged by June next year. The BTS ARMY is eagerly anticipating the group's reunion and the new chapter that awaits them.

The news of these discharges has stirred a mix of emotions among fans. There's joy and excitement for the artists' return, but also appreciation for their service and the personal growth they've experienced. Many fans have expressed pride in how their idols have handled this important duty, sharing messages of support and affection on social media.
