Lee Jin Ho Claims Kim Soo Hyun Wasn’t Kim Sae Ron’s Underage Boyfriend
 

The ongoing Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun controversy has ignited intense debate after new revelations emerged from YouTuber Lee Jin Ho. In a detailed exposé posted on April 9, the YouTuber claimed that the timeline of the alleged relationship between the late actress and the actor does not align with the facts.

According to Lee, both stars were reportedly involved in other relationships during the time Kim Sae Ron claimed she dated Kim Soo Hyun in 2019. He also provided alleged proof that Kim Soo Hyun was dating someone else during his military service years.

Lee Jin Ho, known for his investigative channel Entertainment King Lee Jin Ho, stated that from 2016 onwards, Kim Sae Ron was romantically involved with different people—ranging from idols and actors to sports stars. He claimed that although Kim Sae Ron mentioned being with Kim Soo Hyun, factual evidence, including messages and photos, tells a different story.

In a swift response, Kim Soo Hyun denied all allegations at a press conference and filed a defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family and YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (HoverLab). He seeks compensation worth ₩11 billion KRW (~$7.5 million USD).

Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron’s family countersued Lee Jin Ho under the Information and Communication Network Act and the Stalking Punishment Act, accusing him of defamation and invasion of privacy. Following the legal battle, Lee's broadcasts involving Kim Sae Ron have been suspended by court order.
