In a shocking twist of events inside the film world, an incident occurred while filming the movie "Mere Husband ki Biwi," starring Arjun Kapoor. Sources from Times Now reported that this happened at the Royal Palms Imperial Palace in Gurugram where the roof of the set collapsed in a manner of speaking, as six people from the cast were injured during this incident, including director Muddassar Aziz and actor Arjun Kapoor.

Incident Description

Arjun Kapoor was shooting a song for the movie when the accident occurred. Film stars Jaiky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh were on set, as were other key members of the production team. Suddenly, the roof of the set began to cave in while they were filming. The result was total disruption and chaos.

How It Happened

According to Ashok Dubey, an executive member of FWICE, "It is alleged that due to vibrations created because of sound machines, which they used while filming, it was said to be caused because parts of the roof of the under-construction theatre collapsed.

Therefore, portions of the structure partially collapsed. More airbags went off as that reduced the casualty toll from potential major injuries
The immediate hours after the accident saw several people injured:

Arjun Kapoor had minor injuries but was lucky not to have sustained major damage.
Director Muddassar Aziz and actors Jaiky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh also sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Ashok Dubey himself was injured, with head and elbow wounds.
DOP Manu Anand suffered a fractured thumb, and a camera attendant suffered a spinal injury.
Although the commotion was immense, emergency services responded in good time and took all victims to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries were reported.

Effect on the Shooting

Choreographer Vijay Ganguli reacted to the accident by saying, "The first day of shooting went off smoothly, but the accident on the second day completely disrupted our plans." The incident has brought all the safety measures at the site into sharp focus as the industry looks for ways of preventing such occurrences in the future.
