Bollywood actor, Naseeruddin Shah, has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai. The veteran actor was diagnosed with pneumonia shortly after.
Shah’s manager confirmed the news and said, “Sir was hospitalised on June 29, but he is now doing well. There is a pneumonia patch on his lungs, and the treatment is going on. He might be discharged today or tomorrow”.
This actor’s wife, Ratna Pathak Shah shared, “He is perfectly alright. There is a minor patch on his lung, which they have been treating. He should be discharged by tomorrow hopefully.”
She went on to say, “It’s pneumonia, but it’s fortunately very small and in one little corner so hopefully it won’t require much more work.”
The 70 year-old actor was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s The Tashkent Files, Seema Pahwa’s Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, and Zee5’s Mee Raqsam. The Bollywood dignitary has won the National Award thrice and bestowed with the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian film industry.
