The Mumbai Police has arrested Sam Bombay for allegedly assaulting her. According to police, she has suffered serious injuries on her head, eyes and face and has been admitted to hospital.

Assaulted by Sam Bombay last year
Last year, Sam Bombay was arrested for assaulting Poonam Pandey soon after their wedding while they were honeymooning in Goa. The actress had filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband.
However, the couple made peace after Sam Bombay was granted bail saying, “which marriage does not have its ups and downs.”
Poonam and Sam were in a live-in relationship for two years before finally getting married on September 1 at their home in Bandra.
Arrested for breaking lockdown rules
Last year, Poonam Pandey was arrested by the Mumbai Police for violating the Covid-19 lockdown rules. According to reports, Poonam Pandey was caught roaming around the city in her luxury car in Mumbai without any valid reason. However, later she had denied such reports.
2011 World Cup stripping
During the 2011 World Cup, Poonam Pandey made a statement which caused a stir on the internet. In a video message, she stated that she strips if the Indian team will lift the World Cup trophy. She shot to fame with this controversy.

Poonam Pandey courted controversy for shooting an ‘objectionable’ video in Goa. The model-actress shared alleged ‘objectionable’ photos on her Instagram which were shot at a restricted site in South Goa. Poonam Pandey, along with her husband Sam Bombay was detained by the officials.
Viral morphed photos
In 2011, Poonam’s morphed photos went viral on social media. The fake picture showed her standing nude next to Sachin Tendulkar and a Pakistani cricketer bowing down in front of him.

Legal fight with Raj Kundra
Poonam Pandey filed a case against Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in the Bombay High Court in April 2009. She had alleged that without her permission, Raj Kundra had used the content of her app to earn money.
