Poonam Pandey in an ugly legal fight with Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra

Published Date:

Poonam Pandey, actress and model, has filed a complaint against Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra and his associates. Concerning the matter of consent, the actress went to High court to file the complaint.

Actress Poonam Pandey had alleged that the businessman Raj Kundra, along with his associates had been using content featuring the actress, even without her consent.
The controversy started when Poonam Pandey signed a contract with Raj Kundra and his associate called Armsprime Media. As per the deal, Poonam Pandey was associated with businessman Raj Kundra as she was getting a mobile application made after her name, The Poonam Pandey App.

The actress has now alleged that even after the expiration of contract between Poonam Pandey and Raj Kundra, the businessman along with his partner Saurabh Kushwaha is illegally using her photos and videos.

Poonam also shared that ever since she had taken legal steps against Raj Kundra, she had been receiving obscene calls from unknown people.

“The company (Armsprime) was handling my app. I kept the contract small because I could see that there was some fraud happening. After a while, I terminated the contract. Now, I read in the news that these guys have terminated the contract. If they have terminated the contract, why have they been stealing my videos over the past eight months. I have been calling and messaging Raj, mailing him with the request to stop stealing my video. Now, I am getting threatening messages from Raj Kundra,” Poonam claimed, while speaking to IANS.

Poonam has also claimed that Raj Kundra and his team were explicitly using her content and they even publicized her personal contact number, writing “call me, I will strip for you”.

“They have accepted that they have been stealing my content, and are putting an amount in the contract. I am not going to be quiet. I have been silent for a year,” she said.

An official statement has been issued by Armsprime Media, signed by Kushwah, which states: “The allegations by Poonam Pandey are false and frivolous. We have not received any notice or even a copy of the Writ Petition filed. We are surprised at how can we even be made a party to such Petition”.

The statement also mentioned that Raj Kundra and his team do not wish to make any further statements as the case has already been brought before the law.

“The case is in High Court. I have a strong case. I have all the proofs. I am seeking justice. And I know I can win the case,” said actress Poonam Pandey.
