Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar died of a stroke on Friday. He breathed his last at the age of 46 today.
Puneeth was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru after suffering a massive heart attack. T
He was in a serious condition and later admitted to the ICU.
Vikram Hospital in an official statement said, “Puneet Rajkumar aged 46 years was brought to the emergency department, Vikram Hospital with history of chest pain at 11:40 am. He was non-responsive and was in Cardiac Asystole and Advanced cardiac resuscitation has been initiated.”
Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bommai also reached Vikram Hospital to check on Puneeth Rajkumar’s health.
He was one of the biggest stars of Kannada cinema. Moreover, Puneeth is the son of superstar Rajkumar.
He began his career as a child artist in the film Bettadu Hoovi. He has won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
