Sukumar’s directed Pushpa: The Rise which stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna received immense love and appreciation in North India and it’s doing the same on OTT now.
BOLLYWOOD CELEBS WHO ARE GUSHING OVER ALLU’S PERFORMANCE:
Bollywood celebrities are loving the film, gushing over Allu Arjun and praising the film. Actor Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Pushpa is not a film. It’s an experience, a juggernaut of attitude, intensity & coolness put together in one smooth poetic motion picture…@alluarjunonline for me was always Arya all these years and as a fan to see him go from Arya to Pushpa was just amazing.” Arjun’s sister Janhvi Kapoor, also complimented Allu Arjun, “The coolest man in the world.” He appeared overwhelmed as he thanked them for their tremendous love.
Director Kunal Kohli even compared him to the legend, Amitabh Bachchan, writing, “@alluarjun A One-man show, like the solo films of @SrBachchan as the angry young man. Mard. Son. Friend. Lover. Tactician. Hero. All rolled into one character, in an award-winning performance. Beyond cool. Other Bollywood actors and notables also expressed their love for the actor and film both.
Not only bollywood but also,sports personalities like Jwala Gutta and Pragya Ojha couldn’t help but pour out their appreciation for the film. Allu Arjun personally replied to all of them. Pushpa: The Rise was released in December 2021 and told the story of Pushpa Raj, a coolie who surges in the world of red sanders smuggling as a kingpin. With the introduction of an influential policeman played by Fahadh Faasil at the end of the film, Sukumar sets things up for Pushpa: The Rule the sequel of the film.
