Raveena Tandon’s song “Tip Tip Barsa Paani” is still one of her most popular songs. Recently, the song was adapted for Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sooryavanshi,’ in which he danced with Katrina Kaif.
Raveena reclaimed the song in a recent episode of the singing competition show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,’ in which she performed it. Aside from ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani,’ the contestants performed a number of the 47-year-old actor’s hit tunes.
Raveena was the first to praise Katrina Kaif for her performance in the new version of ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani,’ according to Farah Khan, a choreographer-turned-filmmaker.

“Raveena was the first one to call me and say that the song is looking fab and Katrina is looking so good. Even Manish (Malhotra) was of the thought that we go away from the visuals of the original song and he’s made Katrina look like a million bucks. I also don’t think anyone could have done justice to Tip Tip, other than Katrina,” Farah told a media agency.
Meanwhile, the National Film Award-winning actress made her OTT debut in December 2021 with the suspense thriller series ‘Aranyak,’ which was released on the OTT platform Netflix. In the imaginary town of Sironah, she played SHO Kasturi Dogra, who was tasked with investigating a murder case.
The series was praised for its excellent acting, storyline, and suspenseful twists and turns. The web series’ producer, Sidharth Roy Kapur, has announced that a second season is in the works.
