Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has added her name to the list of celebrities trying to help people amid the COVID surge in India.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared that her charitable organisation Rudra Foundation has dispatched 100 oxygen cylinders to the national capital as it faces a ravaging oxygen shortage.
“Team enroute Delhi. A drop in the ocean, but hoping it’ll help those few at least. @therudrafoundation #ourfirstlot,” the actress wrote.

Rudra Foundation has arranged for 300 more oxygen cylinders since. The foundation is being run on donations and volunteer work and is really making a positive impact.
Raveena has hinted that she will be dispatching more cylinders as soon as more are available. Among other celebrities trying to do their bit, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have donated Rs 2 crore and started a fundraiser for the cause. Sonu Sood’s foundation is doing tremendous work in providing medical supplies to people in need. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna too donated 100 oxygen cylinders and Rs 1 crore.
