The plot centres on elite agents Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas), whose memories were erased as they barely survived the demise of independent international spy outfit Citadel.

Since then, they have gone unnoticed, creating new lives for themselves while assuming other identities. Up until one night, when Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), a former colleague at the Citadel, locates Mason and asks for his assistance in stopping Manticore from establishing a new global order.
The official synopsis describes Mason’s search for Nadia as “a mission that takes the two agents around the world in a quest to halt Manticore, all while struggling with a relationship founded on secrets, deceit, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.”

Lesley Manville portrays Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile portrays Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings portrays Abby Conroy, Roland Moller portrays Anders Silje, and Caoilinn Springall portrays Hendrix Conroy, among others.
The series will premiere on Prime Video on April 28 with two episodes, followed by a new episode every Friday until May 26.
“Citadel” marks the start of a historic global franchise, and subsequent series will span the globe with interconnected stories.

Each series is created, produced, and filmed in-region and features top talent, resulting in a distinct global franchise.
Italy and India are already producing the “Citadel” series. The Indian section stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, while the Italian version stars Matilda De Angelis.
