Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya split up, it has been over a year. The Shaakuntalam actress, however, is still struggling with her divorce. Samantha acknowledged the same in a recent interview, calling her divorce “a pretty dark place.”
“I was in a really dark place and had some truly dark ideas throughout the most challenging periods of this condition. I wasn’t going to let these ideas ruin me. It implies that I need to start moving in that direction. I was blessed to have many loved ones by my side. Although I still struggle with it, the amount of terrible days has significantly decreased, Samantha told Zoom Digital.
The actress continued by describing her attempts to maintain a brave demeanour and carry on with her career in order to emerge from that “dark place.” “I am at a loss on how to respond. I respond exactly as I want to and in that manner. It’s critical to understand that difficult times pass and that we shouldn’t become mired in them, Samantha continued.
This comes days after Samantha stated in another interview that she gave her marriage her all but things did not turn out as she had hoped.
For those who are unaware, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya separated in October 2021, four years after they wed. They had then released a statement requesting privacy from fans and followers while they “moved on.” Afterwards, according to a number of media reports, Samantha demanded a staggering Rs 200 crore in alimony from Naga Chaitanya. As she made her debut on Koffee With Karan, the actress refuted the allegations. According to rumours, Naga is presently seeing Sobhita Dhulipala.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is preparing for the release of Shaakuntalam in the meantime on the professional front. On April 14, the movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Moreover, Samantha has the roles of Citadel opposite Varun Dhawan and Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda.
