Shah Rukh Khan has finally made the first official announcement about his upcoming movie Pathaan. It is directed by Siddharth Anand.
The action film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
After being in production for several months, now the production house Yash Raj Films has given it a prime Republic Day January 25 release for 2023.
That will mark the 50-year celebrations of the big date.
Pathaan’s one-minute teaser shows Shah Rukh and his two co-stars, Deepika and John, talking about the titular Pathaan in mysterious and ominous tones.
One can guess much about the film that it will be patriotic in nature.
Rumour has it that Pathaan will also have Salman Khan’s cameo; his Tiger films and Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff-starrer War will knit it into a spy movie.
Salman Khan, if rumours are to be believed, has been rumoured to have filmed a cameo for Pathaan. While Shah Rukh Khan is also rumoured to have shot a similar cameo for the upcoming Tiger 3.
For Shah Rukh’s fans, the Pathaan teaser is a big treat indeed. Since SRK was last seen on screen in 2018 in ‘Zero’.
