Richa Chadha starrer Shakeela movie teaser is out. Bollywood star, Richa Chadha essays the titular role in the film that promises to be a huge success.
Actress Richa Chadha looks sizzling in the teaser as she brings out the rags to riches story of Shakeela to life on the big screen.
Directed by Indrajit Lankesh, Richa is playing the character of Shakeela Khan, who was one of the biggest stars of the 1990s from Kerala and acted in several adult films in languages spanning Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
The teaser of Shakeela gave a few glimpses of how Shakeela Khan rose to prominence with her raunchy performances on screen. The movie is also depicting the harassment that Shakeela Khan had to witness in her life, off screen.

WHAT DOES SHAKEELA TEASER SHOW?
The teaser starts with the declaration that Shakeela is based on a true shocking story. The short teaser released on Wednesday opens with a voiceover that shows how Shakeela was one of the most sought-after actresses in the late 1990s and 2000s when film industry and business suffered major losses in South.
“Today, once again cinema halls are empty, and she is being called,” the narrator says, referring to Shakeela’s release this Christmas, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
While Shakeela’s teaser mainly displays the adult star’s rise to stardom, there are few glimpses of the ignorance and treatment she received from the society.
