Siddhant Chaturvedi Birthday Special: Early Career Struggles You Didn’t Know

Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who is one of Bollywood's young talents, is going to turn a year older on April 29. With his debut role in the film Gully Boy, Siddhant's path to becoming an actor is a tale of perseverance and dedication.
Prior to making an impression, Siddhant struggled through his share of setbacks. Not many people know that the actor's very first film, one that potentially could have been his debut, was canceled — an experience that had a lasting effect on him.
In an interview with Mashable India, Siddhant uncovered, "I was around 21 or 22 years old when I tried my luck in a film. I was selected and we even had workshops for six months. I even did my hair and began dressing up as per the character."
But then something unexpected happened. "Later, the film got put on hold. Every time I saw myself in the mirror, I could see only that character. It influenced me so much that I decided to shave my head," Siddhant revealed.
The actor admitted that for almost three months after the project got canceled, he was emotionally disturbed, lost, and dejected until his hair started growing again. To add to his emotional turmoil, Siddhant came forward and admitted that while his friends were writing their Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams, he was at a juncture. Though his mother urged him to appear for his CA finals, it was his father who urged him to follow his heart to pursue acting as a career.
Siddhant later made his formal Bollywood debut in 2019 with Gully Boy, in which he took on a substantial supporting role and garnered widespread acclaim.
Since then, he has had appearances in films such as Bunty Aur Babli 2, Gehraiyaan, Phone Bhoot, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and Yudhra.
Siddhant will next be seen in Dhadak 2, alongside Triptii Dimri. He will also be starring in Dil Ka Darwaza Khol Na Darling.
