The Indian cricketer’s Mumbai home has started to get ready for Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s impending nuptials. Athiya and KL Rahul were recently photographed together at the Mumbai airport on their way back from Dubai, where they spent New Year’s Eve together. The two will wed on January 23.

The wedding of Athiya and KL Rahul will take place at Athiya’s father, actor Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala over the course of three days. On January 21, a ladies’ night has been planned to begin things off. A trustworthy source previously informed us that “Athiya’s closest female friends, like actor Akanksha Ranjan, will be involved in this.”
At the sangeet ceremony the following day, additional guests will attend. The sangeet of Athiya is likely to feature performances by her friends, brother, actor Ahan Shetty, and parents Suniel and Maya Shetty. It’s a very tight-knit family thing. Only close friends and family will attend the wedding. You probably won’t see many industry colleagues.
Suniel was stated “Jaldi hogi” (it will happen soon) in relation to the wedding before. Before they declared their relationship as official on Instagram, Athiya and KL Rahul were said to have been dating for a while.
They never publicly discussed each other, but in 2021, when the cricketer attended the screening of Athiya’s brother Ahan’s debut film Tadap, they made their relationship official. In the 2015 romantic action movie Hero, Athiya made her acting debut. She has only appeared in two movies since then: Mubarakan (2017) and Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019).
