Sikandar: Find Out How Salman Khan is Filming Action Sequences Despite Rib Injury

Sikandar

Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss are joining forces for their much-anticipated film, Sikandar. Fans are eagerly waiting for this action-packed movie, especially with Sajid Nadiadwala producing it. Recent reports reveal some exciting updates about the film’s production and Salman’s role.

Elaborate Sets and Intense Action Sequences

A detailed set resembling the iconic areas of Dharavi and Matunga has been built specifically for Sikandar. The shoot is currently taking place at two major locations in Mumbai—the SRPF Ground in Goregaon and a hospital in Marol. The filming is progressing rapidly, with a significant portion expected to be completed in the next two weeks.

Salman Khan's Rib Injury and Filming Adjustments

Salman Khan recently sustained a rib injury, but that hasn’t slowed down the production. Director AR Murugadoss has adapted the shooting schedule to accommodate Salman’s condition. The superstar is filming light action scenes between 4 pm and 10 pm, while his body doubles handle more intense stunts. The major fight sequences involving Salman will be filmed later once he fully recovers.

Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' Character

Salman’s character in Sikandar is described as embodying arrogance and royal lineage, similar to his 'bad boy' persona in Sultan. This has fans excited, as it’s a return to a style that they loved. The film is expected to feature high-octane action sequences, with action directors who have previously worked on Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible series.

Release and Cast Details

Sikandar was announced earlier this year on Eid and has been generating buzz ever since. Salman will be reuniting with Sajid Nadiadwala, with whom he last collaborated on the 2014 hit Kick. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj in key roles. Sikandar is slated for release on Eid 2025, and fans can’t wait to see what this dynamic team delivers.
