Actor-humanitarian Sonu Sood has probably helped thousands of Indians during the pandemic. His charitable foundation Sood Foundation has been helping people with their urgent medical needs throughout the pandemic. Recently, he helped out Suresh Raina by promptly providing an oxygen cylinder for the cricketer’s aunt.
Raina had sent out a tweet in anticipation of leads, “Urgent requirement of an oxygen cylinder in Meerut for my aunt. Age – 65 Hospitalised with Sever lung infection. Covid + SPO2 without support 70 SPO2 with support 91 Kindly help with any leads.” He also tagged UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
Sonu Sood was quick to respond, writing, “Send me the details bhai. Will get it delivered.” Soon after, he sent out another tweet saying. “Oxygen cylinder reaching in 10 mins bhai.”
Suresh later expressed his gratitude, “Sonu Paji thank you so much for all the help. Big big help! Stay blessed.”
Sonu Sood has become immensely popular for his charitable nature over the past few years. The actor also recently expressed his concern for children who have lost their parents due to COVID-19. He has he mission to support their education and appealed to the government and other charitable foundations to help with the cause.
He shared in an Instagram video, “I would like to request the government, the state government, central government or whichever institutes that are trying to help, that there should be a rule that whosoever has lost family members during Covid-19, the education of their kids, from school to college, be it in a government school or private school, should be free of cost.”
