Superstar Sonu Sood has emerged as a messiah to the needy and poor people of India who were facing the harsh side of COVID era. With his selfless, helping hand, actor Sonu Sood has been stealing headlines ever since the nationwide lockdown was imposed in India.
Sonu Sood has garnered a huge fan base during the coronavirus outbreak, when the migrant labours were facing hard times. The actor maintains a close and timely interaction with his fans, replies to their tweets, messages and addresses their issues.
Recently the “Dabanng” actor made huge headlines on twitter as he accepted the wedding invitation of his virtual world ‘sister’ from Bihar. The actor has helped this woman during the coronavirus lockdown.
Neha hails from Karamantola and she shared her wedding card through a tweet where she asked the film actor for his benign presence on such big day. While sharing the wedding invitation card, Neha wrote, “@sonusood @govingagarwal sorry sir. Amid the excitement, I forgot to mention your name. If you attend my wedding, I’ll be the luckiest girl. I’ll wait for you, sir.”
Sonu Sood accepted the invitation and he wrote in response, “Let’s enjoy Bihar wedding.” The wedding is supposed to take place on 11th December in Bihar with Vaibhav who works as a PO with Bank of Baroda in Chandigarh.

Neha has been Sonu Sood’s twitter sister since the nationwide lockdown was imposed. Earlier, this year, on 1st September Neha took to twitter and requested Sonu Sood to help her ailing sister with the operation, that couldn’t be conducted at AIIMS due to lockdown.
The actor, who was on a helping spree throughout the lockdown, took the responsibility of Neha’s sister’s surgery. Neha is the eldest amongst three siblings and her father is a government employee based out in Buxar.
Owing to his great deeds and selfless help to the needy people, Sonu Sood has been appointed as the state icon of Punjab by the Election Commission.
As per media reports, the actor has written a book titled “I an no messiah” where he as penned down his experiences of the work that he did in lockdown. The book is supposed to be launched in December.
On the work front, the actor is occupied with the shooting of his upcoming movie Prithviraj where he will be sharing the screen with Manushi Chhillar and Akshay Kumar.
