Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have been waiting four years to see him on the big screen after his last release, Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Zero,’ which he co-starred in alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in 2018.
While Shah Rukh has been spotted in Mumbai filming Yash Raj Films’ action thriller ‘Pathan,’ a new update on one of his upcoming films would delight his fans. In March 2022, Bollywood’s ‘Baadshah’ will begin filming for Rajkumar Hirani’s next film. Taapsee Pannu is reportedly cast alongside SRK in the film, and this will be the first time the two stars share screen time together.

According to the source, the ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ actor has wanted to work with the ‘3 Idiots’ filmmaker for a long time and the two are equally delighted to work on this movie. A source revealed, “Pre-production work has already begun and a large set replicating a village in Punjab will be erected in Mumbai’s Filmcity studio. Construction work will begin in a few days, and a large chunk of the movie will be shot here.”
The film will also be shot in London and Budapest, according to the source. According to previous media reports, the untitled film is a social comedy about immigration.
Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani has directed blockbusters such as ‘PK’ and ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai,’ and his most recent film, a biographical drama titled ‘Sanju,’ which starred Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt, was released in 2018.
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan is also working on an Atlee film, which will feature South star Nayanthara in her Hindi film debut. Several media sources indicate that the film is inspired on Netflix’s global blockbuster series ‘Money Heist,’ despite the fact that it hasn’t been formally revealed.
