Comedian Sunil Pal Files FIR After 8 Lakh Rupees Extortion and Kidnapping

A shocking incident involving comedian Sunil Pal recently came to light, causing concern among his fans. On December 3, his wife Sarita Pal filed a missing person report with the police, as Sunil was unaccounted for. However, he returned safely to Mumbai later, revealing that he had been kidnapped. Following his statement, the police have now registered a case.

The Kidnapping Incident and Police Action

Based on Sunil Pal’s complaint, the Mumbai police have filed a case against unknown individuals for kidnapping and extortion. The case was initially reported at the Santa Cruz police station in Mumbai, but it has now been transferred for further investigation to the Lal Kurti Police Station in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

When Did the Kidnapping Happen?

The FIR (First Information Report) was filed against 5 to 6 unknown individuals under various sections of the law. According to Sunil Pal’s complaint, the kidnapping occurred between 6:30 PM on December 2 and 8:00 PM on December 3. Sunil claimed that while he was in Meerut for a comedy show, a group of 5 to 6 people abducted him. After kidnapping him, the abductors threatened to kill both him and his family. Under threat, they extorted 8 lakh rupees from Sunil Pal.
