Sunny Deol tests positive for COVID-19, isolating in Kullu

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who is also BJP MP from Gurdaspur, said he had tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. The actor also appealed everyone who have come in close contact with him to get their tests done for the coronavirus infection.

Sunny Deol has been staying in Kullu district for some days, Himachal Pradesh Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi said. Actor Sunny also said that he has self-quarantined himself after his COVID-19 tests result came out positive. 

Himachal Pradesh Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi also shared on Tuesday that as per the information received from the district chief medical officer, Sunny, along with his friends, was planning to leave for Mumbai, but he couldn’t go because of his positive test result. 

The health secretary also told PTI that the 64-year-old Bollywood actor had undergone shoulder surgery in Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district. 

‘I have tested positive for coronavirus. I appeal to the people who came in contact with me recently to isolate themselves and go for the COVID test,’ Deol tweeted in Hindi. 
As Sunny Deol shared about his COVID-19 positive test results, his fans started showing their immense support and love for the actor. 

On the work front, Sunny Deol will be seen in upcoming Apne 2 along with his father Dharmendra, brother Bobby Deol and son Karan Deol. The three generations of Deols will be seen together on screen for the first time.
